"Fight Club"

 

-laughs- A dear old friend reached out to me because he is back in Florida and wanted to meet up for old time sake. And the first thing he wanted to do was gather everyone for a sparring matches, in a joking way. As if we were still young. It was a silly thing he had put together with certain people from our circle. 

I'm sure he was joking... I haven't don't any defense fighting in years so I don't think I'd want to spar with anyone. He didn't realize I moved out of state though. He was such a character. Definitely someone I saw as a brother. He is married with a kid now, but still the same old guy I known. Even when playing phone app games he'll message me when there are team events so we can both get the "online goods" -laughs- I invited him to come up and visit if they all every make their way up here, or when I make my way down to Florida again I am 100% willing to hang out, but I did decline on any potentially sparring. 

Hilariously enough Vincent also reached out to me today too. Or as I always referred to him, "Lord moo". Lost contact with him in 2011 after graduation. But he found me online 2 years ago, and we hung out once. I ended up drifting from him and a few other high school friends because I was the only girl who got added to the group and I felt awkward. Thankfully he understood that I did change boundaries from back in highschool. But he reached out to make sure I'm good. He missed late night gaming. I told him once I get more memory into my PC I'll get back into gaming a bit. 

Lindsey is upset I hadn't jumped on to play split fiction with her again. We left off with me being a rainbow farting pig. -laughs- ah, I got completely distracted by Higurashi today. I finished season one of the 2020 release. And 1/4 of the way through season two. I got to rewatch Umineko, I swear there's a character who made an appearance in both...or maybe made an appearance in the game. Hm, not sure. Rediscovering things that bring some life back into me is always nice.
