Christmas arts and crafting

The girls and I spent today cooking and then around 3pm we decided to crochet. First time ever doing it. I always said I wanted to learn but felt like I wouldn't be good at it, but they were all very encouraging. Even though it'll just be a scarf, I'm excited that I'm making it. It's not completely straight, still learning to keep a constant tension but it's slowly coming together. I have been instructed to do length then work on width for the pattern I was shown. Level easy. Hahah. 

Today was a full day of feeling like Christmas. I am happy to have people to celebrate with. Couldn't have asked for better coworkers and friends.
